Hi Eddie, It's so good to have your update in my mail again! You have been very missed, and are always in my prayers... I loved your sweet friendship poem, I'm a sucker for those and the love poems...And I guess truthfully I love all of them! It's just that some are a bit more special... "Awaken To A New Day" really made me stop and think, and just about everything you mentioned did happen in my life this past year, and thank God I did have wonderful family and friends to stand beside me, and you are one of them, thank you Eddie... I love the set you made for the poem too, it's perfect for the words you penned! 'Perfect Hearts' is such a sweet poem, and I'm so glad you included it in your list this time! Eddie, with a tear in my eye I have to say although Perfect Hearts is beautiful, 'Reaching Out To Children' is the sweetest Love Poem of the day....It's beautiful... Thank you so much for your update Eddie, and more than that your steadfast friendship, which I treasure most of all... God bless you, Melva

I have a number of friends who are police officers in Columbus, Ga, and I think of them often. This poem helps to put their work in perspective.

Hi Eddie, I made it finally. I sure have enjoyed your poems today. I never get tired of reading your writings and re read them again. I feel our Lord in each word that you write. I was so touched by The Day I Cried. Hugs is so true, just give a little hug to someone and it makes them feel cared for.The One I Adore, just beautiful with your loving words. At Heavens Door was so wonderful and it made me feel so close to Heaven. I know Heaven is always on my mind. Eddie I continue to pray for Coen, and for you and Sharon. I can only imagine the weather in Auztralia. I am really looking forward to spring this year. I just want to see the sun in the day, not hot though, Thank you Eddie for the link to my fifties section on my site. I do love the good music of our era. God Bless You Always Thank You for your wonderful friendship Carolyn

Eddie, I know you thought I would NEVER visit your pages again. It has been a pretty bad year, healthwise. My husband had surgery, I've had back problems and continue to be treated for that. I, as always, love your new poems..my favorites this time: Listen and The Day I Cried-actually, they were all wonderful, including At Heaven's Door. I hope you will forgive me for being so late..I am trying hard to catch up and have so many emails to answer also. God bless you and yours..keep the faith! Hugs..Anne

Hi Eddie, Thank you for your very special wishes in my guest book. I came to wish you and yours a HAPPY NEW YEAR and ended up staying and reading from each section of your poetry. Some I recognised I had read before and others were new to me - all wonderfully penned. You have a rare talent that shows with every line. May you have Peace, Love, Faith, Health and Joy in 2009 and may your pen continue to flow. Blessings..... Joan
